This 1990 Jeep Wrangler YJ is a really cool, rust free, 2 Owner
Jeep that the last owner has owned since 1993. He only ever used
this Jeep as a summer toy so it has never seen a winter. It was
always stored inside and he added some cool upgrades but left it
looking like a Stock Jeep. The biggest change was a V8 swap that
was professionally done and it looks excellent in the engine
compartment. The body on this YJ is excellent. It is very clean and
the Black paint still looks excellent and it appears to be all
original. It still has the original graphics. It has a soft top
with the steel half doors and the top is still in great shape. It
has aftermarket front and rear bumpers with the rear bumper having
a built-in tire carrier. The under side is really nice and clean.
The factory undercoating is all still present and the last owner
always cleaned the underside after driving because he did not want
the Jeep to get rusty.
The interior is very, very nice. It is mostly original with the
exception of some newer Bestop Bucket Seats in the front. The rear
bench seat is original and nice. The dash is original, uncut, and
really nice. It does have the factory roll bar too. The headlights,
taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The
gauges all work except for the factory tach because of the engine
swap. The horn, heat, and windshield wipers all work. This Jeep has
an aftermarket B & M Ratchet Shifter on the floor.
Mechanically this Jeep is excellent and it runs and drives great!
It has a Remanufacture Crate Engine from ATK engines with under
2,000 miles on it. It is a 5.7L 350 V8 and it runs strong and
smooth with no issues or red flags that we found. It is the Stock
260 HP engine and it has and Edelbrock aluminum intake. Edelbrock
Carb, Edelbrock aluminum valve covers, Headman headers with dual
exhaust, and a HEI ignition. The transmission is the Turbo 350
automatic that shifts great. It is mated to the np231 transfer case
and the 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a Dana 35 with
4.10 gears. The front axle is a Dana 30 high pinion with 4.10
gears. It has a 2 Inch lift and it is sitting on a nice set of
American Racing aluminum wheels with 31 Inch BFG tires. This is a
NICE Jeep!
